I signed up for NaNo on a whim a few weeks ago, and I’ve never written any decent fiction (certainly not a book). I gave up on the idea of writing fiction years ago, so why now? No idea. I don’t think I’ll reach 50,000 words in one month, either, but hey, at least we’re making the effort, right? :)
