T-Shirt Thursday!

It's t-shirt Thursday!

Woohoo, T-Shirt Thursdays are back! Rather, I finally made time to browse for graphic tees YAY. I haven’t been looking at tees for a while and I think it’s because I tell myself I need more girly stuff (read: dresses and nice blouses) and don’t need any more t-shirts. Not that I buy these things a lot, but looking at them and knowing I can’t or shouldn’t makes me cry. Hah. Anyway, I realized I can have more girly stuff AND more t-shirts, too. I just need to allocate my moolah carefully, right? AMIRITE? (Why do they spell it that way, by the way?)

Enough blabbering. On to the graphic tees!

Meow by Elena Arkhipova (Threadless): A single meow can mean so much more. Haha. “Feed me all the fishies in the world, human.”

Ghost Bulb by Luis Romero (Threadless): This is just adorable actually. Look at all the adorable ghost faces. Plus this shirt glows in the dark! Woooo scary.

Pocket Toothless by Tabners (Design by Humans): An itty bitty tiny Toothless in your pocket all day every day? Yes please.

Psychic Psychedelic Trippy Cat by Biotwist (Design By Humans): Really, who doesn’t love psychedelic trippy cats?? Kitty cats are luuuurve.

We Are Groot (Design By Humans): Seen the most awesomest movie yet? Don’t tell me that “We are Groot” scene didn’t bring tears to your eyes? Groot is the best evur. (Also, this lady is rockin’ gorgeous hair.)

Cleopatra by BrianMViveros (Design By Humans): This print. She is badass. I love this shirt just because. I love the blood red rose and the smoky eyes. The cigarette and the bullets not so much, but they do make this quite striking. I want eeeet.

The end. For now.

Music Monday: Bullet Dumas

Bullet-Dumas-headshotMan, I had this post drafted up months ago, but didn’t have (or make) time to finish it. Well, lookie, it’s finally up.

So, have I told you about this guy yet? Wait, I did. I wrote about this guy back in 2012 right after I saw him perform live for the first time. Well, guess what? He released his first EP a few months ago! Say it with me, YAYYYY.

Everytime I see this guy, one scene plays in my mind and it has nothing to do with music. Back in 2012, I went with Carpet Head and Team Pilipinas to Singapore for the Singapore Ultimate Open. I had with me Carpet Head’s fancy schmancy DSL camera with the paparazzi lens attached, this huge and super heavy long lens thing. During one of the games, Bullet executed an awesome Callaghan point and I failed to capture the moment with my big ass high tech camera! Big camera-woman fail on my end. I haven’t forgotten that.

Anyway, back to Monsieur Bullet and his music. His single Pssst!  has been on the airwaves for some time now. His music is also on iTunes, Amplify, Spotify, Soundcloud, and Bandcamp. Check check checkitout.

Website | Facebook | Twitter | InstagramSoundcloud | Bandcamp | iTunes

Okay, I was going to leave you with a Soundcloud player of one of his songs, but I couldn’t figure out how to embed the thing. Never mind! Go to Soundcloud and listen to some of Bullet’s music for FREE!

This week’s pasta adventures. Or not.

tuna pasta

Can you eat pasta for lunch for four days in a row? Well, apparently I can.

So, we Filipinos love to eat rice in almost every meal, right? I’m home all day, left to my own devices, so sometimes I do cook rice and sometimes I don’t (usually when I’m too lazy to thaw something from the freezer). Anyway, we ran out of rice and didn’t have time to hit the supermarket. I really don’t get out much on weekdays ’cause I’m supposed to be workin’ at home like a good work-at-home person (hah!). Luckily, I bought a bag of penne the last time we were at the grocery store. Hurray.

I decided to make the easiest thing – and the only pasta thing – I know how to make: tuna pasta!

The World’s Longest Chain of Literary Tattoos by Litographs

I wrote about this project recently and I really loved the whole concept. It involves things I obsess about – literature and tattoos. Plus it’s a project by a company that creates damn cool literature-inspired graphic tees, tote bags, and what not.

Litographs has launched a Kickstarter campaign for its World’s Longest Tattoo Chain project. The company has broken down the entire text of Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures In Wonderland into 2,500 unique temporary tattoos. The goal is to get all these 2,500 literary tattoos on the skins of Kickstarter backers and then showcase the photos on Litographs’ tattoo gallery. It’s certainly a unique way of reading the classic novel – a book that, I’m ashamed to admit, I’ve never read before and I’ve had it on my Kindle app for ages.
