Funky Things Thursday!

Tonight, we’re flying off to CDO, a.k.a. home sweet home, and then going up to Malaybalay, Bukidnon for the Love Ultimate Tournament. Woohoo. But before I do that, I leave you with cool tees and cool stuff. Woohoo.

Sad T-Rex T-Shirt (Loops and Pluto): “If ur happy & u know it clap your… oh.” HAH awesome! I really do love t-rexes. Reminds me of this adorable t-rex.

Toilet Shot Glasses (Busted Tees): Sooo if you use this, you can all pretend you’re doing pee shots? HAH. So cool, though. So cool.

The Lord of the Rings Minifigs (The Fancy): LOTR FTW! I actually want these things just so I could recreate scenes from the trilogy. That would be so cool. And so geeky.

And that’s it. Til next week!

Inspiration Monday: 12 Tips to Make 2012 Your Breakthrough Year

One of the guys I write for sent me a link to this awesome post to show as a sample of how he wants our articles to look like. I have to tell you the post really is awesome and it couldn’t have come at a better time. Needless to say, it inspired me to TRY to make 2012 my breakthrough year (ahaha!). I’m gonna do a separate post for my thoughts on that, but for now I just want to invite you to check out the post. Click click below! :)

12 Tips to Make 2012 Your Breakthrough Year

HAVE AN AWESOME WEEK, FRIENDS! :)

Let’s measure in LOVE.

In daylights, in sunsets, in midnights, in cups of coffee
In inches, in miles, in laughter, in strife..
In five hundred twenty-five thousand six hundred minutes
how do you measure a year in the life?
How about love?
Measure in love.

A meaningful Christmas to all!
And may you all be more blessed in the coming new year!

Please pray for CDO, Iligan and other areas hurt by typhoon Sendong and help in any way you can.For real-time updates on the Typhoon Sendong Relief Operations,

Twilight Schmwilight

Folks, we are all aware that  Breaking Dawn is upon us. The first part of the last installment of the Twilight saga opens next week. I’ve read all the books, but I cannot stand Bella and Edward and Jacob. I mean, really. Anyway, I can’t stand them, but I know I’m still going to watch the movie. Oh, we know we’re all going to watch this even if not all of us are fans. I’m curious. You’re curious. We’re all curious.

Anyway, all the hype reminded me of my ALL TIME FAVORITE explanation of Twilight by The Oatmeal. I really feel that this explanation is right on point. If you haven’t read this, I suggest you do. :P

Have a good week, folks! :)

Guilty pleasures

Gahhh I cannot stand the characters or the stories of these shows, but I cannot stop watching! LOL. Seriously, I find the characters a bit annoying, exaggerated and overly dramatic, but it’s like I have to see what silly and ridiculous things they get into. Haha.

Oh hello there, shoe crush.

I took the train today and there was a girl wearing maroon Doc Martens across from me. I thought they were perfect for the weather we’ve been having. My cold feet in my squishy wet flats agreed. I want. By the way, she was pretty, too, but I just wanted her shoes. I want boots.

Tips on Organizing

This was a guest post I wrote for A Taste of T.

A few guest bloggers and I were filling in for T while she was busy moving so I thought I  just use this to share a few simple tips on organizing! I’ve moved around a few times and these are the few things I always try to remember. I can’t say I’ve followed them strictly but they’re a great guide. These tips are also useful even when you just want to fix or reorganize your room or a part of your apartment.

Last week I was and this week I am a classic sap

Been obsessed with Pride and Prejudice the whole of last week. I think I watched the movie five times. I’ve seen it before, but it never gets old. I just read the book, too. Eeeek. LOVE IT. I’m on a classic sap run so I wanna watch and read Sense and Sensibility, too. I’ve seen the movie version and I remember feeling the same way when I first saw Pride and Prejudice. Eeeek.
Don’t you just love the classics? :)

In other news, I won another giveaway! How about that! I’ve never been this lucky. I should hold my own giveaway soon. Tsk.
