T-Shirt Thursday: Yay for Star Wars Tees and Tanks!

Yep, we’re all madly excited about the new Star Wars film coming out so I’m doing Star Wars tees and tanks today! Woohoo! I’m not going to pretend to be a super fan, but I do like Star Wars. Hey, have you seen that Carrie Fisher interview that’s been going around? She’s great and super funny. If you haven’t seen it, go find it ASAPs (um, the extra ‘s’ means you gotta go faster than ASAP, so that means nowww). Heh.

Anyhoo, enough of this stupid rambling. On to the awesomeness of Star Wars graphic tees! These are some of my favorites. They are cute, no?

I want a pretty planner for 2016 though I don’t really use one.

Are you a planner type person? I really am not. I have had planners before and I always ended up not using them much or at all. I’ve realized before that it’s the organized and structured format that bothers me. Well, you know, each page or spread is for a specific week and there are spaces and lines for each day. It bothers me when I don’t have anything written down for each day or if I have too much stuff on a particular day and spill out on to the space meant for the next day. I just can’t ignore the dates and labels. I know, I’m weird. What has been working for me so far is a plain, unlined notebook. I can write anything – from random ideas and thoughts, to-do lists, plans, etc. – and I don’t feel pressured to write something for each day hah. It’s great.

However, these gorgeous planners are making me re-think my planner game or lack thereof. Take a look and see what I mean.

Girl Crush Friday: The very cool Léa Seydoux

Carpet Head and I watched Spectre on the same week we watched Mockingjay. I was going to do a post on both movies but decided they each deserve their own post. More importantly, the lovely Léa Seydoux deserves her own post. She is so captivating. I find that hers is not a conventional beauty, but she’s kind of gorgeous in her own unusual way and very intriguing. She has a face that stays in your mind.

Review: UNCommon Bodies (An Anthology) plus a Giveaway!

UNCommon Bodies is out today! UnCommon Bodies is a collection of stories curated by Pavarti K. Tyler that span across genres to explore the lives of the odd, the unbelievable, and the impossible.

I was so intrigued by the stories included in this collection that I just couldn’t pass up the chance to read it. One story in particular reeled me in: Skin by Brent Meske: After constant bullying in high school, Patricia vows to change her name and her entire being. When she gains the ability to mold and sculpt flesh, that vow very quickly becomes a terrifying reality. Now isn’t that something?

Read on to know more about this awesome collection of stories and check out my review. Of course, don’t forget to enter the giveaway, too. :)

About a Movie: Mockingjay Part 2

Carpet Head and I managed to go to the movies for two consecutive nights this week, thanks to the special holidays brought on by the APEC Summit. We watched Mockingjay Part 2 the first night and Spectre on the next. Woot. I was going to write about both movies, but I realized they deserve separate posts. So this one’s just about Mockingjay. Duh.

It’s T-Shirt Thursday! [Tank Top Edition]

I love tank tops. If only I could wear them all day errr-day and errr-where! Seriously, it’s my dream life – tank tops, shorts and flip flops or cute kicks forever. These days, I’m also obsessing about kicks coz the hubby’s obsessed with them and he has a growing collection of cute sneakies in fun bright colors while I have, like, one pair. Gah.

Anyway, here are some of my favorite graphic tanks for this week’s T-Shirt Thursday!
