Hi all! My name is Lei and I am psyched to be a guest blogger on A Taste of T! I would like to thank T for this awesome chance. I’ve only discovered her fabulous blog a couple of months back and it’s great that she’s allowed me to be one of her guests.
First, a little something about myself ’cause you’re probably wondering, who the heck is this person? I’m from the Philippines and I started blogging in 2003 but back then it was really just mainly for me and a few friends who knew about it. A few years into it, I became more open to letting more friends know I have a blog. Like most personal bloggers, I blog about anything under the sun. I blog about ultimate (my favorite sport in the world!), places I’ve been to, movies I’ve seen, books I’ve read, music I love. I blog about family and friends. I blog about stuff on the net like cool graphic t-shirts I see online or fun, interesting sites and blogs I’ve discovered. Nothing new or extraordinary really, but hey, my blog’s all me. :)
Anyway, guess what? This is my first blog guesting ever! Cool, right? And I am psyched that it’s for High Five Friday because who doesn’t love Fridays? Before I give out a High Five, let me
tell you ramble about why I love Fridays.
|Staple silver flats for work!|
I get to dress down for work! Well, where I work, dressing down for Fridays means “business appropriate” attire. That means I can chuck the corporate suit, but still have to wear slacks or a skirt, a collared shirt or a cardigan, and closed shoes. No jeans, no t-shirts, no sneaks. I still gotta look business-y, but at least I get a break from being in a suit all week long.
Fridays are also almost always movie night! More often than not I am more excited about the plain popcorn with salt, melted butter and EXTRA butter than the movie. We buy our movie munchies from this neo-vegan cafe near our favorite cinema. A movie AND healthy munchies? Now doesn’t that make for an awesome Friday?
Lastly, I love Fridays because it means it’s the start of the weekend and my weekends are mostly spent playing the greatest sport ever: ultimate. Well, it’s my favorite sport so I get to say that. My team, the Ultimate Warriors, train/play every Saturday afternoon and it’s one of the main things I look forward to all week.
So, enough rambling. If you’ve gotten this far, thanks for reading! Now for that High Five..
I would like to give a big High Five to…. well, whaddayaknow.. A Taste of T! Really, T’s done a great job with this blog. I love that there are regular topics like Awkward Moments and High Five Friday, and that there are the other fun things inbetween. Keep it up, T! Thanks again for giving me my debut guesting gig. Looking forward to your baby posts when you get back from your blog leave. :)
